What To Expect In Terror 2018
Last year special Halloween event brought forward some pretty interesting features and changes to Overwatch which included everything from cosmetic additions to map reworks. As a result, players can expect the same to happen this year which means Blizzard is going to be introducing many brand new seasonal items including sprays, emotes and more.
Junkensteinâs Revenge
Furthermore, last year the developers also released a new PvE mode called Junkensteinâs Revenge which was a co-op PvE brawl event where four players group together to take out a number of spooky enemies, including a witch, some zombies, Dr.Junkenstein and his creation Junkensteinâs monster.
This was one of the major attraction of 2017’s event and it is because of that we think Blizzard is going to announce something similar this year. But these are all just rumors as the developers are currently in their cycle of releasing content every day. Hopefully, well see details regarding these challenges and game modes in the coming days.
Halloween Map Changes And Rework
The Overwatch Halloween 2017 also came with changes to a couple of maps in the game which included Hollywood and Eichenwalde. These changes completely revamped the maps by adding in an overall dark theme which meant the addition of night and other Halloween inspired items.
However, there is a chance the developers are going to be releasing a new map all together for the upcoming Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018 event but for the official confirmation about that, we will have to wait a little.
Check out last year’s map changes down below:
For those players who missed out on the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 event, there is some good news as the developers are offering all of the skins from last year’s event for 1000 credits each. This means you can get a hand on all of those exclusive skins once again but be sure to get them this year as they might not be offered ever again. For more information, the 2017 Halloween skins, check out the images below:
That is it for now but stay tuned as we are going to be updating this blog with all of the upcoming skins and/or any other news regarding the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2018 event. So, if you have been eagerly waiting for details regarding the next skins, check back tomorrow for more information.
