Dota 2 News: OG Back To Four As Pajkatt Leaves

A few months back, we came across some pretty grim news regarding The International 2018′ champions and its star-studded line-up. The team’s leading carry player, Anathan ‘Ana’ Pham was seen leaving the professional Dota 2 scene, which led OG to replace his role in the roster with someone who was equally as good. Hence, Per Anders ‘Pajkatt’ Olsson Lille was signed. However, it seems the curse of the TI is back as today, OG has come out with an announcement, stating that Pajkatt will be departing from its official roster.

According to the official announcement, OG stated that due to differences in team chemistry, though being an exceptional Dota 2 professional player, Pajkatt was not the right pick for OG. Which is why the current TI champions are going to be letting go of the Swedish born.

OG’s spirit has always been the one of trust and stability. We do not shy away from challenges or hard work, as you all know. We brought in Pajkatt. He is a very mechanically gifted player, a great DotA mind but also a truly professional team member.
OG goes further into detail stating that team chemistry is something which runs deep in its roots and hence, they do not take this matter lightly. Plus, with team synergy under fire in OG, it was not beneficial for both OG and Pajkatt. As a result, to compensate Pajkatt for his time in the team, OG will be giving away a cut of not only the Bucharest Minor but also Chongqing Major, if they qualify for it.
“Pajkatt is a great player, and I feel blessed that I got the chance to learn from him, but when a team with recent success brings in a new player, it is a difficult position to be in for anyone. I’d like to extend a huge thanks to Pajkatt for the time we spent in Paris, and also a huge thanks to everyone else who keeps supporting OG through thick and thin! – Johan ‘N0tail’ Sundstein
“Thanks for giving me the chance to play, it’s unfortunate that things didn’t work out, I wish OG good luck for what’s coming next” – Per Anders ‘Pajkatt’ Olsson Lille

That is it for now but stay tuned as OG is expected to come out with yet another announcement tomorrow. Hopefully, with the tryouts for the carry position already underway, we might just hear who will replace Pajkatt in OG in the coming days. So, until then, comment below and let us know what you think of this change. Do you think OG will ever be able to replace Ana?
