LoL Worlds 2018 Group Stage: Day 7 Highlights

With the League of Legends 2018 World Championship Group Stages coming to a close, it is now time for us to bring you the recap of all the match that took place of the second last day of the event i.e Tuesday, 16 October 2018. So, for all those who were unable to watch all of the matches live, don’t lose heart. We have for you the highlight reel of all of the six matches.

LoL Worlds 2018 Group Stage: Day 7 Highlights

So, without wasting any more of your time, let us begin with the LoL Worlds 2018 Group Stage – Day 7:

Match 1 – Team Liquid vs. kt Rolster

The day kicked off with the very first match being held between Team Liquid and kt Rolster. The match lasted for approximately 27 mins which included a total of 16 kills, 4 for Team Liquid and 12 for kt Rolster. The game ended with kt Rolster taking home its first win of the day.

Match 2 – MAD Team vs. Edward Gaming

It was now time for the second game of the day, one between MAD Team and Edward Gaming. The game lasted for approximately 40 mins and was one of the best games of the day due to the high number of kill count. However, in the end, it was Edward Gaming which took home the win. Match 3 – MAD Team vs. Team Liquid

With Mad Team losing to Edward Gaming in match 2, it was now time for them to face Team Liquid, a team which lost to kt Rolster in the first game of the day. The game took off to a good start, but in the end, it was Team Liquid which took out the enemy Nexus in the end. Check out the highlights down below:

Match 4 – Edward Gaming vs. kt Rolster

With the first half of the day done, it was now time for match 4, Edward Gaming vs. kt Rolster. Both teams have been performing extremely well in the tournament. Hence, their faith in Group C was to be decided on the upcoming game. The match kicked off to an amazing start but at the 36th-minute mark, it was Edward Gaming which we took out the enemy Nexus, granting themselves the win.

Match 5 – Edward Gaming vs. Team Liquid

With the first four games done and dusted, it was now time for the second last game of the day where Edward Gaming was set to face Team Liquid. The clash between these two giants was one of the most interesting matches of the tournament as both teams desperately need the win to secure its position for the tournament’s playoffs. and well, in the end, it was Team liquid which won the game. Match 6 – kt Rolster vs. MAD Team

With MAD Team having 5 losses in the tournament’s group stages, it was all over for them. While on the other hand, with 4 wins for kt Rolster, the team already secured its place in the upcoming playoffs. It was because of this, not many were interested in the game. However, this did not stop Rolster from completely annihilating MAD Team in their final game.

Final Words

This marks the end of Day 7 of the LoL Worlds 2018 Group Stages. However, this is just the start as there is still one more day left, one which will feature 6 Group D matches.
