League of Legends Park Announced By Riot Games

A new esports stadium is in the making and Riot Games are its proud owners. The LoL Park has been revealed by Riot Games located in Seoul and would be home to the upcoming 2018 LoL Worlds Play-in stage.

The stadium is named after the game itself and would be the first esports stadium that would be dedicated to a particular game. LoL Park is capable of holding upto 500 fans and is divided into various sections.

Unlike others, the LoL Park would have a forum style seating that will allow fans to view individual screens rather than how they are used to in major events. Plus the LoL park is the first in its class that also boasts a place of 100 PCs that will be used by pro teams for practice or as a gaming café in case the stadium isn’t booked for an event.

And that’s not it, there is also a meeting area, a gear store, food café with the Bilgewater theme and an exhibition room that features LOL Champion statues, LCK uniforms and player figures.

The first thing opening of the stadium is the PC bang that is set to start working in late September. The auditorium would open next with the matches of LOL Worlds Play-in stage. The entire stadium would be up and running by January.

This is a really big move from Riot Games to further solidify LoL’s esports presence and make room for fans to have more interaction with their idols and a chance to know more about the game and the awesomeness revolving around it.

Tell us what you think about the LoL park and how excited are you about the upcoming LoL Worlds 2018.
