Fortnite Season 6 Released
The much awaited time of the year is here. The 27th of September was marked as the day of release for the game’s latest season and the day is finally here. Fortnite’s official twitter account just announced the release of Season 6 and its looking more fun and exciting than expected.
Here is what was mentioned in the official patch notes for the season:
Season 6 arrives in Battle Royale and brings new goodies with it! Uncover what’s in the new Battle Pass, explore an updated island with Pets, and become one with the shadows with a new consumable. Join in on the Cram Session mini-event in Save the World and learn more about a new enemy that has appeared from the Storm.
Apart from this, the new season brings in 100 new levels of awesomeness to the game with 100 new rewards to claim. The Battle Pass can be yours for only 950 V-Bucks so if you’ve got that then you shouldn’t miss buying it ASAP.
More details about this seasons Battle Pass can be viewed in the video below:
According to the patch notes, this time Fortnite season is going to bring in Pets to the game as well.
Apart from that, new consumable item, Shadow Stones have also been added to the game that lets you slip into darkness and stay invisible to enemies along with having an ability called Phase.
The major change to the game is an updated map for Battle Royale. Visible from the release video, there will be a lot of floating islands and new spots to play around. All in all, there are changes throughout the map so it might take you a few glides to get used to the new stuff.
Apart from that, a change to Fortnite’s Save the World has also been made. A new enemy has been added named Riot Husky that holds a shield to protect from incoming damage. You might need to be a little more creative to take him out.
That’s not it as there are several weapon and game play changes coming up with the new season as well. For that however, you would need to head on to the official patch notes page to view them all.
All in all, Fornite’s season 6 looks super exciting and we can’t wait to try it out as soon as the downtime ends in a few hours.
