CSGO News: ESL One Belo Horizonte Kicks Off Tomorrow

After the end of ECS Season 5, the world of Counter Strike: Global Offensive is ready for another premier tournament. This time around we are heading over to Brazil as ESL One Belo Horizonte 2018 kicks off from tomorrow.

June 13 marks the date when ESL One will commence in Brazil for the very first time. And to increase the intensity of the match, fans will get to witness the 8 fine CS:GO teams competing for the $200,000 prize pool.

Starting off from tomorrow, the event will take place over a period of 5 days. The attending teams have been divided into groups and the schedule can be seen below:

Matches will start with a BO3 GSL group stage that is based over the ESL CSGO World Rankings. At the end of the group stage, top two teams from both groups will advance to the semi-finals of the event.

The first matchup of the event will see FaZe take on the Canadian squad of Ghost, with SK following it up against Space Soldiers. Mousesports will have the task to take on Não Tem Como while Liquid will take on BIG.

Mousesports and FaZe are two teams at the event who will be playing with stand-ins. FaZe earlier announced that Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen will take place of Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer after the star player announced he temporary leave once again.

Mousesports will be playing alongside Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert who will act as stand-in in place of Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný who won’t be making it to the event due to personal issues.
