E3 2018: Here’s What We Know So Far

E3 2018 has been the most talked about thing in the gaming world. Fans were anxiously waiting for it to happen and now that it’s underway the game reveals have further increased the anticipation of the community.

If you haven’t been able to follow the event live, here is a short coverage of what happened at Day 1 and the game titles that are set to release by the major game developers in the world.

Microsoft, Bethesda, EA, Sony, and Square Enix are among the top companies to announce big titles at the press conference. And each and every one of these announcements have put fans on the edge of their seats.

Microsoft at E3 2018

Microsoft started off the press conference with the announcement of Halo Infinite. The game looks fine giving you the original taste of Halo with a slight peak of Master Chief with his helmet.

The second big reveal has been the sequel to the hit side-scroller game “Ori and the Blind Forest” released in 2015. The sequel “Ori and the Will of the Wisps” gets its first game play trailer and it looks to be a must have.

Coming in February next year is another big title, Metro: Exodus that looks promising even from its trailer. If you have loved Metro: 2033 and Last Light for what they bring then get ready to fall in love with the franchise once again.

Forza Horizon 4 was the next one to hit the E3 screens, with the game looking much more detailed and exciting. The game is exclusive which means it’s only going to release on PC and XBOX.

Next we have the much awaited Devil May Cry 5 reveal and its packed with all that you expect from the hack and slash game. This time around the story revolves around Nero with the trailer showing a slight teaser of Dante in the end.

Bethesda at E3 2018

The biggest reveal from Bethesda has probably been the next expansion for their award winning title, DOOM. Doom: Eternal has been announced and it is everything you want in a DOOM title and much more. While there isn’t much information in the trailer, it is safe to say that it is going to build up on what we saw in the game from 2016 but with a lot more intensity and probably more multiplayer aspect.

Next one is Fall Out 76, the next version in the Fall Out franchise. The game would be a sequel to Fall Out 4 and according to news, the game map is four times as big as you saw in in Fall Out 4. Plus the game is fully multiplayer.

A new original game title has also been announced, Starfield. Bethesda looks super excited and proud with the revelation and as per the announcement it is a Sci-Fi adventure game and it would be their first new title in 25 years.

Square Enix at E3 2018

Just Cause 4 is another AAA title that has been revealed at E3 till now and if you have been a fan of the franchise then you shouldn’t miss its gameplay trailer.

Square Enix came out with some pretty interesting new titles and announcements during its E3 conference. However, it was Shadows of the Tomb Raider which had people the most excited. Check out the announcement trailer below and join the hype.

Sony at E3 2018

The developers responsible for the PlayStation console featured some of the best trailers and announcements during the E3 conference. Though, this did not include details regarding the rumored PlayStation 5 but we were still introduced to pretty amazing new games. So, kicking things off, check out the trailer for Ghost of Tsushima. It is a brand new title from Sony which inspired from the Japanese Samurai culture.

Sony has had some pretty epic exclusives in the past, however, there has been one title which takes the cake for the best one yet – Last of Us. Well, during Sony’s conference, the developers released a trailer for the game’s sequel titled The Last of Us Part II.

Ever since Hideo Kojima left Konami and started working with Sony, everyone knew a incredible title is in store. However, apart from some very weird trailers and announcements, the exact details of the upcoming game were unknown. Till now that is as during the conference, we finally saw a gameplay trailer for the upcoming Sony exclusive, Death Stranding.

And there is more as during Sony’s E3 conference, we also saw another gameplay/story trailer for one of the developer’s most hyped games for the year of 2018. Checkout the all-new trailer for Marvel’s Spider-man down below:

Ubisoft at E3 2018

Ubisoft looks super confident with the announcement of The Division 2 and by the looks of the trailer it is awesome to say the least.

During the conference, the developers came out with an announcement which took the community by storm. Ubisoft released another trailer for Skull And Bones which was teased during last year’s E3 conference. Check out the trailer below:

And the announcements did not stop there as Ubisoft, again came out with yet another trailer for a game which has been considered one of the most anticipated games of the lot. We are talking about Beyond Good And Evil 2.

However, it was the franchise’s biggest seller which had everyone sitting at the edge of their seats. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. It game had been teased before the conference, but it was during the conference, we saw a full release trailer featuring everything we need to know about what is to come.

EA at E3 2018

EA’s most anticipated game Anthem has also been revealed and its gameplay trailer release proves the point of what’s the hype all about.

Fifa 19 was the second game revealed by EA and just like every year, this one looks better than the previous one.
