Dota Plus End of Summer Update: Ranked Roles Matchmaking Is Back
A few months back, Valve came out with something the community has never seen in the history of Dota 2. It was a brand new service called Dota Plus which is a premium monthly subscription that comes with additional features like hero progression, statistical analysis, shards, relics, terrains, Chat Wheel lines, and cosmetic item rewards. Well, today, the developers have added in another feature to the already massive list of active services, one which the community has been asking for since the end of the 2018 Battle Pass – Role Based Ranked Matchmaking.

Dota Plus End-of-Summer Update
According to the official blog post, the developers have released its Dota Plus End-of-Summer Update which focuses on bringing some of that summer fun into the perks of Dota Plus. As a result, some of the features of the recently ended 2018 Battle Pass are set to return with the all-new, revamped Dota Plus.
These features included the iconic Ranked Roles Matchmaking. Furthermore, in-game tipping along with additional welcoming quests have been added to Dota Plus. However, this service along with the other additions is only going to be available to players who are subscribed.
Lastly, as a special end-of-summer bonus, Valve is offering any Dota Plus member who plays 4 games this weekend can claim an extra 10,000 Shard reward. Hopefully, from all these shard rewards, players are going to be able to afford the Dota Plus exclusive sets and cosmetic items.
