CS:GO News – Skadoodle Steps Down From Competitive Play

Cloud9’s Awp-star Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham has decided to take a break from competitive CS:GO as announced via Cloud9’s twitter account.

According to the tweet, Tyler would be taking a break from the competitive circuit. It also reveals the organization is on the hunt for a 5th player for the team.

Skadoodle has been one of the biggest AWP talents the NA region had to offer. He rose to prominence from his time in iBUYPOWER and Curse. But Skadoodle really shined after signing for Cloud9 back in the start of 2015 and helped his team achieve several first place finishes most notably ESL Pro League Season 4 and the Boston Major 2018.

This is what he had to stay about hanging his mouse for the second time.

“I am taking a break from competitive CS:GO. I would like to thank the fans and Cloud9 for their support these past years and I wish the CS:GO team the best of luck.”

Skadoodle temporarily left competitive CS:GO when Stewie2k left for MIBR. However, he was back on the active roster just a few weeks after. Since this is a break, we can expect to see more of Ska in the future so keep your fingers crossed for it.

Cloud9 currently are a 4-man roster with their next event scheduled to be the BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen in the start of November.

Cloud9’s roster currently is as follows:

• Timothy “autimatic” Ta
• William “RUSH” Wierzba
• Maikil “Golden” Selim
• Robin “flusha” Rönnquist
• Tyler “Skadoodle” Latham (inactive)
• Soham “valens” Chowdhury (coach)

Tell us who you think might be the next addition to the Cloud9 roster.
