The Battle Of Kursk Is Coming To World Of Tanks This July

Wargaming is back with a brand new event for its increasingly popular war-themed online game, World of Tanks. The new event, titled Battle of Kursk is set to replicate the famed military incident which took place 75 years ago. So, if you are a action genre enthusiast and want to relive one of the greatest battles in the history of the world, then the upcoming Battle of Kursk event is just the thing for you.

During the World War II, two of the biggest armies of Europe, the Germans and the Soviet forces, battled it out on a tirelessly long collision which turned out to be a major turning point in Germany’s offensive on the Eastern front. To celebrate this event, Wargaming is bringing the Battle of Kursk to World of Tanks with a special 50-day challenge.

“Between July 5 and August 23, you’ll be given an order to take on a new mission every day, with rewards available for each fulfilled task. The prizes will ramp up in value as you advance, topping the event off with a truly unique trophy.”

The event comes packed with varied and rewarding missions which not only include credits, equipment, consumables, and personal reserves also three main rewards. These rewards include a commemorative medal for participating in the event, the T-34 Shielded and a Kursk-dedicated style which can be applied to any vehicle of all tiers.

So, if you want to put your feet in the shoes of the soldiers and witness the mayhem which went down during the Battle of Kursk, then the upcoming event is just perfect for you.
